BLOG OFF!

One hasn't updated this thing for a while. I feel guilty. I have ignored my camera a little lately. That thing called Life gets in the way. I don't let the dust completely settle on her though. Here are some picture I took of my dear friend, my little darling, Hannah. I do love fashion photography so so much still but your priorities in life change with time & as you get older. I live in London now which is bloody fantastic. But, can I afford it? NO. So, sensibly, I spend all of my free time (which isn't a lot) on the dance floor raving with the likes of Boddika, Azari & III, sometimes catching a free set at Phonica Records with Simian Mobile Disco OR even when I'm feeling lucky, gate crashing THE one & only party, Boiler Room with Lvis-1990, Girl Unit, Bok Bok, Ikonica & Lil Silva. SO yeah... as you can see I'm even more skint because, 'WE LOVE TO PARTY.' I was born with my head stuck in the clouds. Instead of eating lucky charms for breakfast (I'm not American) I ate dreams after I dreamt about them. I wanted to be an Actress on the stage............ Then a world class Fashion Photographer.............. & probably before that a Vet and then an Astronaut. My point is, becoming a Fashion Photographer is not practical right now. Cos I need, da moniiiiies (phone jacker voice) I KNOW IT SOUNDS AWFUL. Who cares about money! It makes the world go round but it doesn't make you happy. So my plan is... look for that j.o.b that will prove to be, the best thing for me. once I'm more settled and know how I feel, my dream of fashion photography, will become real!!!! - I'm shit at poetry. If you want to know how it sounds, just ask me.

I have the ideas and the buzz and adrenalin inside me, I just can't find a tin opener that works...

Freya is such an amazing little person. She is so influential already at the age of 4; she has such spirit and beauty and I value her with all my heart.

The sun was shining so bright one day in October.

We made some cheese sandwiches and put some cartons of apple juice in our rucksacks and Aunty Kaffrin bought a disposable camera...

This hair style is SO sexxxy. Slick back and thick with colour. It is very hot, sexy, sweaty glamour catwalk. I wish I could wear my hair like this without looking like I need my head dipped in a bath of talc or batiste!!!!

HATS// The Cherry On Top

Hats complete any occasional outfit whether it be a wedding, a day at the races, lunch at the ritz perhaps but, nowadays and just recently this summer has seen hats take more of an important role to any outfit for any occasion even if you're roaming around london's trendy streets with a maxi dress on, a shaggy stripy top and a trilby.

If the hats fits... Wear it.

As soon as I put a hat on I get into character. I have never liked the idea of wearing hats because I feel conscious in them however, I bought one recently from asos.com. It holds understated glamour and its great for bad hair days. Hats create an alto ego. When I think of women who wear them, starlets like Grace Kelly spring to mind and then I think surely, ''I can't wear a hat unless I'm meeting the Queen,'' but no you can wear one anytime because if the hat fits, wear it! A hat naturally hides yours face, it gives you a sense of security and mystery... They give you extra authority and they are eye catching and attention seeking. Stunning accessories - The cheery on top. Don't be afraid to wear that that.... These girls are certainly not just popping to the streets.... surely not?
