PLAYDUB AT NATION.
Well this 'good times', 'drunk times' time was at the end of Feb, & I have only just had a chance to get back to blogging.
A music event not to missed if you count yourselves a dub stepper.
Music came from Stenchman, Noisa & the Foreign Beggars kept the spirits rising and the pulses racing. They have a very cheeky sense about the pair of them! Passing a massive bottle of vodka around the front rows, pouring the spirit down the young ones necks. The front is the place to be apparently, if you can't be bothered going to the bar - cough cough, over priced Nation "student" prices, are disappointing to say the least! If you are not at the front quenching your thirst then your jamming on your own or in a little group at the back clinging onto the speakers like a horny monkey! Guys chill out, the speaker police ain't going to come and take the bass away!!!
Jone's & Rachael were on form! One of the lads made a quick exit as he preferred to just go and buy some fried chicken! What waste! Lost our other friends until the end of the night but all was good in the end. We were all standing in the smoking area, where they had these horrible lights, lets just say no body was looking like they were on a vogue shoot!
Jones: 'Oh sweet Jesus, I'm so glad I used my Joleen earlier! To get rid of my moustache!' HA HA, and then we broke out into song! 'Joleen, Joleen, Joleen, jooo-- leeyn...' Private jokes, hey had to be there or at least smoking.
We all had a brilliant night! Leaving Nation at 6am was a bit of a chilly shock after exiting the sweat pit. It was chucking it down. Well Play dub had obviously installed a snow machine! Walking home was interesting. Up bold street I couldn't see a thing as the big snow flakes got stuck to my eyelashes! Quite a nice sensation to be frank.
Bum bags are meant to be big this season! Really?!?! Rach & I did wear them that evening, and hell! They are fab! SO useful. Stuff all your, 'stuff' in it and and dance the night away.
'What mate? It's too Noisa in here!'
